The popularity of Austrian delicatessen in Luxemburg has always been there. Their mission is to bring the Austrian winter and summer vacancy feeling to Luxembourg, by distributing variety of wines, beer, cheese, and ham. As a growing distributor, Tasty Austria had the urge to represent itself as a fine and modern brand with a direct and special feel, without influencing that vacancy feeling. Since the creation of the brand in 2016, it expanded their offer and has partnered up with the Gager winery for a home wine for Tasty Austria.
To communicate the fresh air and view of the Austrian mountains to the home of Luxembourgish people, Tasty Austria asked me to contribute a visual identity to the brand. The strategy is clear, the light natural green colour emerges out of the natural aspect and the heavy contrast of black and white result out of the finer approach of the delicatessen.
The logo of Tasty Austria shows a glass of wine as a Y and a wine bottle as an I to represent what the brand is offering to its customers. The logo stays in most cases white on black and is centered to give it space and a fine touch. The green is only used minimally as an additional color to support the pictures that are used to transmit the feeling of Austrian quality.
