In my video exposition at Anomalie Club Berlin, I collaborated with Aydin Thill to create a unique and unexpected final product using the technique of video cadavre exquis. To bring this project to life, I utilized the combination of Cinema4D and Houdini to create a visually stunning video that showcases the versatility and power of these software tools in combination with my creativity. The use of Cinema4D for the 3D animation and Houdini for the simulation effects helped us to bring a new level of depth and movement to the final video. The result was a captivating and visually striking work of art that was well received by the audience at the exhibition.
A video cadavre exquis is a way of creating art, where different perspectives and styles come together in an unpredictable way. It's a way of letting go of control and allowing the creative process to unfold in its own unique way. In our collaboration however, we defined the rotation and the pose of the character to have the ability to overlay the videos in the post-production. The unveiling of everyone's video was an exciting and unexpected moment that left us amazed by the other's contributions.
The blue side of the video was created by Aydin Thill, featuring a woman as the main character who transforms into a butterfly-human hybrid in a grassy landscape. My contribution was the orangeish side, depicting a levitating monk made of metallic veins, who appears to control the elements of water and fire.
